Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and her affairs with Israel’s worst people

Ileana Ros-Lehtinen becomes once again the most impassioned defending counsel of highly criticized Israel’s governing staff.

Ileana Ros-Lehtinen becomes once again the most impassioned defending counsel of highly criticized Israel’s governing staff.

She did it when the UN Human Rights Council approved five other resolutions on crimes committed by Tel Aviv.

One of those agreements established a new international mission of inquiry into violations related to illegal Israeli settlements in occupied territories.

A spokesman for Israel warned on Thursday that they will not cooperate with this inquiry and accused the Council of being “hypocrite” and with “double standard”.

Mrs. Ros-Lehtinen came to scene even more outraged. She even suggested that such UN institution is in the possession of evil people who attack free democracies like that of Israel.

It will not surprise anybody since she has appeared for years in the House of Representatives as a virtual spokeswoman for Israeli governments.

Is such attitude based on principles or a law-abiding impulse? No, it occurs due to opportunism and her addiction to influence peddling. A brief comment proves it.

She rejected the State Department’s comments that supported Tel Aviv, but censured the new Israeli colonial settlements in occupied territories.

She managed to be sponsored by U.S. Zionist sectors closely linked to governments of Israel, and in such a scenario, Ros-Lehtinen traveled seven times to that country until 2009.

Her last trip took place on August 10-15, 2009, organized by the Global Capital Associates Inc., a private company dedicated to encouraging political contacts for Tel Aviv.

The New York Times reported the tour, and criticized the violation of “soft Congressional ethic rules”.

After her arrival to Israel, she prioritized a visit to the town of Sderot, on the border with Gaza, and condemned the Palestinian resistance with terms similar to those of Zionist propaganda.

Not by chance a South Florida billionaire —Stanley Tate— generous donor to her electoral campaigns, was among her hearers.

In 2008, she was accompanied by lobbyists who paid 18 500 USD per person in order to secure future support.

Ros-Lehtinen stayed at the King David Hotel, one of the most expensive of Jerusalem, with the right to a lavish gala evening in which she spoke out against the Palestinians.

The New York Times echoed a statement made by Mrs. Lehtinen in which she described Israel as “the biggest U.S. ally against violent extremists”.

This newspaper reported the results of an investigation conducted among 1150 political trips abroad, and to catalog their legality, the trips were divided into zero, doubtful, or “in the limit of decency”.

Ileana was among those fans of luxury travel paid by sponsors who then, as in the case of billionaire Stanley Tate, support with their votes.

It is evident her complicity with the leaders of Tel Aviv, who have often despised UN resolutions condemning its illegal actions.

That is why Ros-Lehtinen enjoys the 20 consecutive times Israel has supported Washington when the subject of the blockade against Cuba has been discussed at the UN, despite the growing number of countries rejecting such policy.

She growls at Iran because according to the American propaganda machine the Islamic country tries to obtain nuclear energy for military purposes, but is silent as to such powerful arsenal that Israel possesses right now.

She revolts now against the UN Human Rights Council because it emits five resolutions condemning once again Israel’s misdeeds,
